LiveOnTheRoad is a non-profit music project that caters for the interest of artists, bands and community of followers. The artists / bands who have published profiles on our website are under no obligation, contract or professional/personal restrictions. We do not sell, share or disclose visitor / subscriber information.
As a music project processing your personal data, we are regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page is intended to keep you informed about what we do with the personal data we process. ‘Personal data’, for the purposes of the GDPR, means any information from which you can be identified; it includes things like your name, date of birth, e-mail address, delivery address, billing address, telephone number and IP address.
First of all, we’d like to assure you that we are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. We will endeavour to ensure that the information you provide us with is kept secure and managed within the General Data Protection Regulations.
If you are not happy with any aspect of how we collect and use your data, please let us know so we can try and resolve it for you. Should this not be resolved, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk).

What type of information do we collect and how do we collect information?
LiveOnTheRoad will store only the email addresses and names of those who:
Subscribe to our newsletter or email directly requesting to be added to the mailing list
Purchase tickets through our ticketed gigs (via Eventbrite)
ARTISTS AND BANDS
Artists and bands that have a profile on our Community page of the website are contacted and asked if they wish to do so. A profile will only be published when/if the artist/band approves this and they can request LiveOnTheRoad to edit or removing from the website by emailing the team at email@example.com.
Why do we collect email addresses and names?
We collect names and emails of those that subscribe to our newsletter and purchase tickets via Eventbrite.com for the following purposes:
To provide our subscribers with regular updates and news regarding LiveOnTheRoad shows and artists/bands
To provide ticket holders with information and reminders about the assigned event
To be able to contact our subscribers, artists and bands with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages
To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services

How do we store, use, share and disclose personal information?
LiveOnTheRoad uses the following platforms: Wix.com, Mailchimp.com and Eventbrite.com. Each of these sites provide us with the tools to allow visitors of the website to subscribe to our mailing list (we add your email to our Mailchimp mailing list) and link event ticket information to Eventbrite.com. Your data may be stored through each platform's data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. LiveOnTheRoad is a music project that caters for our subscribers, artists and bands who have a no-obligation, no contract and flexible management agreement that does not sell, share or disclose the contact details of website visitors, ticket holders or subscribers and anyone else that may contact us.
ARTISTS AND BANDS
Personal details of the artists and bands we work with will not be shared publicly. Your artist/band title may be shared with music professionals, promoters, venues, publishers, radio stations, managers and bookers who come to us to refer artists / bands for opportunities. If artists or bands do not wish us to pass on their artist / band name without their consent or at all, they may contact us to change their preference by emailing
How do you communicate with your site visitors?
We do not contact visitors of our website unless we have been contacted by visitors directly through email, Wix.com or through our mailing list. We may send subscribers regular gig updates, monthly newsletters and opportunities for artists/bands who have subscribed to us.

How can your subscribers withdraw their consent?
If you do not wish to subscribe to LiveOnTheRoad Music either as a mailing list subscriber or artist/band, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Subscribers of our mailing list are also able to do so at the bottom of the newsletter, by clicking 'unsubscribe'.
